A Chapter I Will Always Keep
Some pieces never truly leave us.
At the heart of this necklace is a goddess carved in rich carnelian, a symbol of strength, creativity, and the enduring parts of ourselves that remain through every chapter of life.
This was one of the very first pieces I ever sent to the casters when Arthur was little. Since then, collections have come and gone, designs have evolved, and countless pieces have passed through my hands. Yet this goddess remained. She sat quietly on my workbench through the years, a constant reminder of where it all began and how far the journey has taken me.
When the time came to revisit her, it felt less like creating something new and more like reopening a treasured chapter. Some stories are too meaningful to be left behind. They become part of who we are, carried forward as we continue to grow.
Set in sterling silver and suspended from a chunky curb chain, this piece balances strength with sentiment. Inspired by the Victorian Albert watch chains once used to carry the weight of treasured pocket watches, it honours a tradition of holding what matters most. These chains were designed to bear weight, often carrying not only a watch but the keepsakes, seals, and tokens collected throughout a lifetime. For this piece, the purpose feels much the same. Instead of carrying time, it carries stories. Strong enough to hold the memories, milestones, people, and moments that shape us, it is designed to evolve alongside you. Finished with an Albert clasp, it creates space for charms and treasures to be added over the years, becoming a collection that is uniquely your own.
There is something special about the chapters we choose to revisit. They remind us of where we started, what we have overcome, and the dreams we carried with us along the way. Looking back, we see not only who we were but the threads that connect every version of ourselves.
A Chapter I Will Always Keep is a celebration of those enduring stories. The moments, memories, and beginnings that stay with us long after the page has turned. A reminder that some chapters never truly end. They become part of us, carried forward wherever we go.
On a 16 inch curb chain then you have an inch and half from Albert swivel clasps.
